Good Afternoon, Bowers Families! Our students begin their i-Ready Winter Benchmark tomorrow. Throughout the week, students will take a reading and math diagnostic to show what they've learned from August until now. Please have students at school, on time, and encouraged to do their best! We appreciate your help and support by ensuring they are ready to go!

Our Thanksgiving Break is different this year than it has been in the past. Instead of 3 days for Thanksgiving, we are now closed all week. When students leave tomorrow afternoon, they will not return until Monday, December 2, 2024. We hope that everyone has a wonderful break full of delicious food and time with family!
It’s time for the Bowers PTO Penny Wars Fundraiser! Students, bring in your pennies (or other change) and place it in your classroom’s bucket. The class with the highest total at the end of the week will win a prize! The fundraiser ends on Friday, so bring in those coins!
Tomorrow, Friday, November 15, 2024, is "Fill It Ip Friday"! All of our food drive boxes have been emptied, and students are encouraged to bring in items to refill their boxes tomorrow. Don't forget what your child's grade level is asked to bring in. Kindergarten is bringing in sweet treats, grades 1 and 2 are bringing in dry goods, and grades 3-5 are bringing in canned food items. Thank you so much for helping families with our school! We appreciate your generous donations!
Students riding Bus 91/6 will be arriving about 30 minutes late this afternoon. Students are waiting safely at the school but will be arriving home later than usual. Thank you!
Don't forget to wear red, white, and blue to honor our veterans tomorrow! Also, we are collecting items until November 20 for our annual Food Drive. Good Evening, Bowers Families! This is a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is a Staff Development day due to the election. Students do not report to school. Teachers and staff will report. We encourage you to get out and vote, and, if able, please include your children in the learning experience.

Good Afternoon, Bowers Families! Please see the bus update for this afternoon regarding Bus 91(52).
We do not have a sub for Bus 91(52) this afternoon. Coach P will use Bus 1 to transport students on Bus 1 and Bus 91(52). She will load both sets of students at Bowers, drop off Rolling Acres and Fiske Heights, then pick up both sets of students at HHS, then HMS and finish the Bus 1 route and then drop West Hills and Emory Gap for Bus 91. We thank you for your patience and understanding!
Bus 91 (52) will be 15 to 20 minutes late tomorrow morning. They will have a substitute bus driver. Thank you for understanding!
